Splendour in the Grass

This year Splendour In The Grass is moving to the bigger Woodfordia site in Queensland and the line-up is massive!

Including THE STROKES, MUMFORD AND SONS, BAND OF HORSES and seminal indie rock band PIXIES. We’ll also see the return of PASSION PIT, FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE, LAURA MARLING and GRIZZLY BEAR. BAND OF SKULLS, SURFER BLOOD, ALBERTA CROSS, MIIKE SNOW, THE DRUMS and TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB will head over for their first ever Aus tour.

LCD SOUNDSYSTEM, BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE, MIDLAKE, FOALS, FRIGHTENED RABBIT, GOLDFRAPP, KATE NASH, JONSI (Sigur Ros) and BLACK REBEL MOTORCYLE CLUB will be here to showcase their brand new albums. And we'll the return of classic party acts SCISSOR SISTERS, THE TING TINGS, and HOT CHIP.

And there's a massive cast of local acts including TEMPER TRAP, ANGUS AND JULIA STONE, EMPIRE OF THE SUN, WOLFMOTHER, THE VINES, TAME IMPALA, PAUL KELLY, OPERATOR PLEASE, LISA MITCHELL, and MIDNIGHT JUGGERNAUTS plus more.

This year Splendour will run over three days, from Friday 30th July to Sunday 1st August.

It's one of the best festivals in Australia, entirely sold out but we are offering YOU the chance of a lifetime with the opportunity to play a spot on the bill! And this year it's open to ANYONE with music uploaded to Unearthed and you'll be playing on the MAIN AMPITHEATRE stage!

triple j Unearthed will fly you to the festival, organise onsite camping and give you a place on the Ampitheatre stage.

Jinja Safari
Jinja Safari is two equal halves: harmonizing frontmen & multi-instrumentalists Marcus Azon and Pepa Knight. Marcus grew up in Tasmania, the son of a preacher-man. The son of an artist, Pepa hails from the central coast of New South Wales.
